The beauty of our conference is that it serves as a fundraiser for our P.O.S.H & Popular Foundation. The P.O.S.H & Popular Foundation is a 501c3 foundation that offers financial and rehabilitative aid to women in transition and domestic abuse survivors.
Partnering with organizations like Goodwill Detroit for our previous summit, Posh and Popular is committed to the women in the community who are passionate about the fashion and beauty industry who need assistance with getting their lives back on track. Clothing drives, empowerment seminars, and resource boot camps are just a few of the plans in place for the women that will benefit from our foundation’s efforts.
Offering scholarships for women looking to attend cosmetology school or other enriching programs to further their careers in the beauty industry are the plans for the proceeds we raise from the Fashion and Beauty Summit. Providing resources to assist women during their transitional period, is Posh and Popular’s mission.
