Subject: The Dress!

Sunday September 14, 2014, The Altuzzara for Target Collection was released, and I made sure I was there bright and early to take a good look at the overly anticipated collaboration.  Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised with some of the collection’s pieces. Of course, no one should walk into Target thinking they’re going to get the same quality they’d get at Neiman Marcus or Saks Fifth Avenue, that’s just absurd.  For the most part, I thought the quality was pretty good for the designer’s collaboration with affordable retail giant. Now, I will be completely honest, there were certain pieces I simply wouldn’t spend that kind of money on even in Target. The quality and fit of some of the pieces simply weren’t worth the hefty Altuzzara for Target price tag.  But overall, I’d say they had some really great pieces for ladies to be able to wear to the office, or a lovely night out on the town!

To be very up front and honest, I only had my mind on one thing and one thing alone, and that was “The Dress”.  And low and behold there was only left in my size!! I love this dress! The fabric, the fit, the detail, and that get’em girl split! This dress just says, “I woke up like this”, *in my Beyoncé voice*. It’s one of those pieces that can transition from day to night effortlessly, and depending on your accessories, you could literally accomplish any look! I also purchased the blouse with the same fabric and floral detail as the dress, and the cami-set with the lace mask. I love the pieces I chose and cannot wait to show you dolls multiple ways I plan to wear each of them throughout the fall!
